NINE Academy scholars will bolster Mark Hughes’ travelling party for the forthcoming week long training camp in Switzerland, stokecityfc.com can reveal.
The City boss and his staff will be joined by 34 players from the Club, including the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri, Geoff Cameron, Joe Allen and Ramadan, who will all report back for training after being given extended leave following their international commitments during the summer.
With three games pencilled in for next week, with the first being coming against Neuchatel Xamax in the Uhrencup tomorrow evening, Hughes has decided to give opportunities to a large number of the Potters’ most promising talents.
